I’m new to the world of “Traveling” and have a question regarding health insurance. Can you use any insurance costs as a deduction? In other words, if you carry your own insurance is any part deductible?

Yes, but only if you itemize (unless you are an independent contractor) . And then it must be > 7.5% of your income

yes, it is but collectively, the total of allowed deductions must be > 7.5% of your income before you can use them
